System Advisers Group Opens Brazilian Subsidiary

Microsoft global power-vendor arrives in Brazil to focus on sales and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP

System Advisers Group, one of the biggest Microsoft Dynamics™ global partners in the enterprise business solutions (ERP and CRM) area, acting in Europe, United States and Asia-Pacific and with hundreds of clients in over 40 countries, is opening a subsidiary in Brazil to act exclusively on Microsoft Dynamics™ AX’s sales and implementation. Microsoft Dynamics™ AX is the flagship ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution from Microsoft Corporation and is focused on mid-market enterprises.

Systems Advisers Group Brazil was formed through a joint venture with Gestar, a Microsoft Dynamics Brazil partner with wide experience and expertise in enterprise management and CRM. System Advisers Group Brazil is the first entity for the Group in Latin America and Brazil is the first country to implement Systems Advisers Group’s local-company partnership model that is focused on BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) countries.

According to Moacyr Galo Jr., General Director of Systems Advisers Group Brazil, the Brazilian subsidiary will leverage on System Advisers Group’s expertise on the Microsoft Dynamics™ AX platform. “Systems Advisers Group is recognized for its excellence in global business solutions based on the Microsoft Dynamics platform”, he said. Moacyr added that the company was chosen by Microsoft Corporation as their main partner in the localization project of Microsoft Dynamics™ AX for Brazil as well as other countries in Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

“We will be launching Microsoft Dynamics™ AX 4.0 in the Brazilian market by the end of this year” said Rodrigo Modena Munhoz, General Manager for Microsoft Brazil Business Solutions Division. “The investment in Brazil by Systems Advisers Group is very important, because of their deep and specific knowledge about Microsoft Dynamics™ AX, a global scale of action, and recognized ability. Systems Advisers Group Brazil certainly can be very successful in the country”, commented Munhoz.

In its first year, Systems Advisers Group will focus on the manufacturing segment where they will leverage on their strong international performance. “We’re initially targeting international clients of Systems Advisers Group that are either already present in Brazil or will shortly be starting their operations here”, said Moacyr Galo. “We are going to use Systems Advisers Group’s expertise in the manufacturing segment through vertical solutions that meet this market’s specifics needs. To leverage this expertise, Systems Advisers Group’s first few projects will call-upon the Group’s global expertise from India, Europe and the United States”.

Systems Advisers Group Brazil’s target is to achieve their first three Microsoft Dynamics™ AX clients by the end of this year. “We are in advanced negotiations with these companies”, said Galo. The company’s present strength is a team of 22 professionals –  by the end of 2008, the company plans to double their team to 40 professionals and aims to have at least 20 clients. “We will invest almost R$ 2 millions in this first year of operations”, said Galo, informing that the company’s expectation is to achieve a net income of R$ 7 millions in Brazil in 2008.
